This laboratory course focuses on a scientific understanding of physics by promoting a deeper understanding of its applications in every day situations.  Students will investigate motion, forces, heat, waves, light, magnetism and electricity while learning the skills of science and engineering. Critical thinking, mathematical problem solving, group projects and laboratory work are integral parts of this course. Successful completion of this course fulfills the state graduation requirement for chemistry/physics and prepares students for future science courses.
