My Journey

  • I started teaching at Arlington High School after graduating from the University of St. Thomas in 2005.  I taught at Arlington for five years until it closed.  From there, I taught for two years at Highland Park Middle School.  I started teaching at Washington in 2012 and was in the classroom for three years.  I took a four year break to be a Teacher on Special Assignment, helping second year teachers throughout the district.  This is my first year back at Washington and I am teaching Geometry.  I hold undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education.  I hold graduate degrees in both Curriculum and Instruction and Learning and Technology.  I live in St. Paul with my husband, daughter, and step-daughter.
