Mrs. Kari Casserly: Special Education Teacher-Autism

  • Mrs. Casserly

I enjoy traveling and going to the Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey, and Minnesota Twins games when ever I can. I also enjoy fishing and being with friends and family.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Art and minored in Psychology. I worked at Fraser Child and Family Center for three years. In 1995 I began working as a Special Education Paraprofessional in the Mounds View Public School District. I worked there till I received my DCD teaching license in 2009 from Saint Cloud State University. I then spent a couple of years substitute teaching in the Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District. In 2013 I began working at Washington Technology Magnet School. In 2014 I received my Autism teaching license from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I am currently working on my Master's in Differentiated Instruction through Concordia University, St. Paul. For the 2019 - 2020 school year, I am currently working as a High School ASD teacher for students in grades 9th-12th. My classroom is room 2530 and my class schedule is as follows:
