Hello!  My name is Kong Vang. I teach Critical Ethnic Studies and CIS Exploring the Teaching Profession.  I am also the coach for the Boys Volleyball team and assistant coach to the Cross Country team.  I enjoy making connections with students and helping them find their passion in life. 

The 2023-2024 school year is my 19th year teaching and 12th with St. Paul Public Schools.  I'm a product of the St. Paul Public Schools and glad to be back teaching the great kids of this district while sharing my experience. 

After graduating from Como Park High School, I went on to University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and earned a degree in American Studies. I continued my education at American University in Washington D.C. and earned my Master's Degree in Special Education.
