My name is Sarah Walbruch (Ms. Wally). I am your child's reading teacher. I have been teaching in St. Paul for over 20 years as an elementary teacher, grades 2,4,5,6.  I am very excited to be working with your child this year at Washington! Please check Schoology for all grades, content, and assignments. 

I have two kids, Lils and Jason, who got to St. Paul Public Schools. My husband also works at St. Paul Public Schools. We are a St. Paul family.  I love eating my husband's cooking and reading fantasy fiction. I love walking with my two golden retrievers, Lucky and Granny, and cuddling with my kittens! I also like to sing and play my fiddle and my guitar. 

Students have been working on in-class assignments and reading logs this week.  Next week, students will also be expected to read at home for 20- 30 minutes a night or 210 minutes per week. Students will also be asked to write daily reader's responses.
