Engaged in Learning, Preparing for a Changing World

Our students begin preparing for college & career through challenging classes, Ramp Up to Readiness College Lessons, and supportive staff beginning in 6th grade. Our magnet focus is BioSMART; an acronym for Biological Science, Math, Academic Rigor, and Technology. BioSMART at Washington is two pathways offering signature courses in biomedical and engineering. As a technology magnet school, we prepare students for the high-tech, high-demand careers of the future.
