I was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I graduated from James Madison High School in 1987. I attended the University of Wisconsin at River Falls where I graduated with a B.A. in Physical Education in 1994.

 I started working for St. Paul Public Schools in 1994 at the age of 24. Washington is the first and only school I’ve be an employee at. This is my 22^nd year at Washington. I also coach middle school girls basketball and I’m the head varsity badminton coach.

 I’m a die hard Wisconsin sports fan. Packers, Bucks, Badgers to name a few. I’m currently unmarried with no children.
