In our class we emphasise the READ 180 program. READ 180 is proven to help students improve their reading by 2 grade levels (or more!) in one school year.  READ 180 has 3 main components: 
1) Group work where we work in our workbook - which we refer to as "The R Book.
2) Computer (iPad) work.  Every day, students do the READ 180 interactive program on their iPads
3) Silent and/or group reading.  We hope to increase every student's "reading stamina," so they can sit through longer, and more complex, texts.
