Hello! My name is Kristi Herman Hil and I'm happy to be an ELL teacher at Washington. I'm in my seventh year of teaching at Washington, and also taught at Humboldt and LEAP High Schools before coming to Washington. This year I am teaching the following classes at Washington:

I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Master's in English as a Second Language from Hamline University. In addition to teaching at Washington, I also teach in the ESL Graduate Education program at Hamline University.

In my free time, I love to travel, read, work in my garden, and spend time at home with my husband Lars, my son James, and my cat Lupe.
