In this class, students are introduced to and use the design process to solve problems. Students use industry standard 3D modeling software to create a virtual image of their designs and then have a chance to build their designs. This is a hands-on class and covers the science engineering standards. This class will prepare students for future high school PLTW engineering classes at Washington. Projects and topics that will be covered are measurement, air skimmer, technical drawings, CAD drawings, and mag-lev vehicles. This is a required 8th grade class.
