Earth Science introduces students to the exciting world around us. We will achieve this by exploring the scientific fields of Geology (rocks, fossils and landscape) and physical Science in the Fall, Astronomy (outer space) in the Winter, Meteorology (weather) in the Spring. In general we will be talking about the earth under your feet, the air around you, and the sky above you. In the Accelerated Earth science we also cover a portion of the 9th grade standards by studying forces of motion and energy.
