  • 7th Grade U.S. History is a core course in the 7th grade. This course examines American history from Westward Expansion of the mid-1800s to the end of the Cold War.

This course investigates history through the analysis of primary and secondary sources, utilizing the Cornell Notes note taking strategies and following the Minnesota State Standards. Along with 7th grade English-Language-Arts and Reading Departments we reinforce shared reading and writing skill development.

All students in 7th grade U.S. History are required to complete a National History Day project. This research project allows students to select a topic from history which they will research, analyze, and present in various formats.
