Saint Paul Public Schools celebrates and affirms our LGBTQIA+ staff, families, and students. Minnesotans have had workplace legal protection around their gender identity and sexual orientation protected by the Minnesota Human Rights Act since 1993. However, it was only in June of 2020 that most people in the United States achieved that same protection in the workplace based on the Supreme Court ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County.

In honor of National Coming Out Day, staff may pick-up a Pride lanyard from the Out for Equity program on October 8^th at EOS (1930 Como) from 2 PM to 5 PM. Questions? Email outforequity@spps.org.
