CTE provides quality, relevant, rigorous educational programming that prepares learners for high-wage, high-skill and in-demand careers.

School Counseling

School Counselors are uniquely qualified to address all students’ academic, career and social/emotional development needs.

Personal Learning Plans

Students document their interests, strengths, & values and connect those to course taking plans, career development activities, and career and postsecondary education aspirations. 

Career Pathway Centers are managed by SPPS counselors and Achieve Twin Cities coordinators. Students can get help on planning for after high school by connecting with the Career Pathway Center coordinator or counselor at their high school. The Career Pathway Center website has resources to help students explore career paths, apply for college and financial aid, find internships, and more!
