The SPPS Class of 2022 will celebrate with in-person commencement ceremonies at the beginning of June. Our celebrations will be different due to the ongoing pandemic. Our goal is to safely celebrate and honor this special day for our graduates. Find details on this page about graduation dates, locations and times; videos of ceremonies; and photo slideshows.
Please note:
- You must have a ticket to attend SPPS graduations.
- Ceremonies will be livestreamed and recorded for those who cannot attend in person.

What words of advice would you give incoming Freshmen?
Work smarter, not harder, and communicate with your teachers if you can’t meet a deadline. Also, try your best to be present at school because it makes a huge difference in your grades. Lastly, make as many memories as you can and be involved.What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory will be taking charge of school activities for clubs and being involved as much as possible. Some memorable events I participated in were the pep fest dance team my sophomore year, the fashion show in 2022, and the Halloween theme pep fest of 2021.What was your favorite class and/or teacher?
Ms. Ali is a positive and kind teacher who tends to the needs of every student. No matter how busy her schedule gets, she always checks in on students. -

Mr. Witzman, because he was super funny and nominated me for Student of the Month even though I didn’t win. He also seated me next to a girl I liked. -

My high school favorite memory was being in choir and other stuff such as the Washington Township and specialized transition employment planning services so much more.What was your favorite class and/or teacher?
My favorite teacher was Stephen O’Toole because he helped me with my advocacy skills and gives me advice. -

What are your plans after graduation?
I will be attending Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. I will be majoring in human performance in hopes of becoming a physical therapist. I am also playing volleyball on a scholarship.What activities were you involved in while you were a student in SPPS?

What words of advice would you give incoming Freshmen?
To actually do your work. Freshman year was the easiest and less stressful year I had, so take advantage of that. Get all of your credits done so you can have a less stressful senior year.What is your favorite high school memory?
Beating Hardings varsity volleyball team at home and away.What was your favorite class and/or teacher?
Ms. Montgomery because she genuinely cared about my well-being after unfortunate events occurred in my life. She got me the help that I needed and I’m forever grateful. -

I plan to go to Denison University and major in biochemistry.What words of advice would you give incoming Freshmen?
Opportunities are presented to us but aren't always going to be there. Therefore, it is up to us to make the most of them.What was your favorite class and/or teacher?
My favorite class was Composition because I learned many useful writing strategies. In addition, my favorite teacher was Ms. Goftarsh, my algebra instructor, because she was very resourceful and understanding when I had any problems related to the course.
