  • Saint Paul Public Schools Student Records provides student records, transcripts, information regarding Student Records & Your Rights, opt out forms and student record updates.

Transcripts and Diplomas

  • To request certified transcripts or a diploma, please complete the Consent to Release Private Data form and submit payment (instructions below).  The request may be faxed (651-632-3704), emailed (spc@spps.org), or mailed to:

    Transcripts: $5.00 (no fee for students who graduated less than 1 year from request date)
    Diplomas (take 2-4 weeks): $5.00

    Summer Session Transcripts

    If you have completed course work (seat based or online) and need to have your transcript sent to a Non-SPPS school for high school credit, please complete the consent form above and send it to the Student Records at the Student Placement Center.

    Summer Session transcripts are issued through Student Records at the Student Placement Center by request only.

    Note: The $5 transcript fee is waived for students attending Summer Session.

Release of Student Data Notice to Parents of High School Students - Military Recruitment

  • In Saint Paul Public Schools, the following information about students is public:

    • Name
    • Birth Date
    • Grade
    • School
    • Dates of Enrollment
    • Awards Received
    • Extra-Curricular Information (including height and weight of athletes)

    Both the Minnesota Legislature and the United States Congress have passed laws requiring public schools to also release addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of students in high school to military recruiters. You have the option of refusing to release this information regarding yourself/your student. If you do not want Saint Paul Public Schools to release information about yourself/your son or daughter to military recruiters, please fill out the military opt out form and return it to your school. Either the student or the parent may choose not to release information to military recruiters. That choice will remain in effect until the parent submits a written request to the school allowing the release of information to military recruiters.
