iPads Out of Country

  • An actively enrolled SPPS student taking a temporary leave or trip out of the country can take their iPad with them to continue learning, at the discretion of the student family and school administration team. Outside the country, SPPS iPads will connect to Wifi just as any other device does. Some countries have specialized settings at a national level that block access to resources that students may use. Saint Paul Public Schools does not control the access or functionality of tools such as Schoology, Seesaw or Youtube when students take a temporary leave or trip out of the country. Students should continue to properly care for their iPad and follow usage guidelines as identified in the Technology Use Agreement and the Student Rights and Responsibilities handbook.
