Special Education Family Engagement events are planned throughout the school year for families of students with disabilities to connect with other families and resources, and learn additional ways to support their student for increased success.

When: Wednesdays,  October 4, 11, 18, 25 and November 1st from 5:30-8:00 p.m.

SEAC meetings are held monthly and are an opportunity for families of students in Special Education to engage with other parents, staff and interested community members. SEAC members provide input on special education issues to the Assistant Superintendent of Specialized Services.  Attending meetings is a way to become more knowledgeable about Special Education, develop relationships with Special Education staff, network with other families and make positive changes for all students. Parents are encouraged to attend any time as a guest or to become a SEAC member.

Saint Paul Public Library Free Online Tutoring and Resources

Access free online tutors through Brainfuse HelpNow! Tutors are available 1:00-11:00 pm., seven days a week online. They can help with all ages and all subjects. Additionally, there is a Writing Lab where you can submit an essay, and they will give you editing suggestions to help strengthen your essay within 24 hours. You need your library card and password to sign in. Tutoring is available in English or Spanish.

Learning Express Library is another great tool. You can practice math problems, reading comprehension, writing and science. There are practice tests for GED, ACT, SAT, citizenship, basic computer skills and much more.

Children's Dental Services clinics and staff members specialize in the unique dental needs of kids. We offer school-based care which provides comprehensive dental treatment in the comfort of your child's school. Students enrolled in the program can receive cleanings, exams, x-rays, sealants, fillings, extractions, and crowns at school. Miracle League Baseball

The Miracle League removes barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of America's favorite pastime. Since the main barriers for these adults arise from the natural grass fields used in conventional leagues, Miracle League teams play on a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assertive devices while helping to prevent injuries.
