Attending a four-year college is a great option, but it’s not the only option. Construct Tomorrow shows Saint Paul Public Schools students that apprenticeship training programs can give them the skills and experience they need to get a well-paying and in-demand career.

On Tuesday, March 8 at the Oxford Community Center, more than 600 SPPS high school students will learn about careers in the trades. All students can talk with industry professionals including painters, plumbers, and electricians, and experience first-hand what their work is really like.

With the workforce aging, workers in the trades are in high demand. Jobs in the trades offer excellent job security and pay.

SPPS students who would like to attend the Construct Tomorrow event should talk to their counselor or Career and Technical Education teacher.
