Out for Equity invites you to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride in the community with SPPS staff, students, families, and our amazing community partners this June! 

MNSOC Youth Pride is a free festival with music, performances, activities, art, food, and opportunities to connect with the community!  This event is for people ten to twenty years old.

Youth Pride - 2021

Happy Pride! Help us spread the word about this year’s Youth Pride, hosted by MNSOC and St. Paul Parks and Recreation. Events (including food!) are no cost and will be held in Como Park East Pavilion from 1-6pm. Activities include:

• Art, music, and sportsball
• Free food from Shobi’s Truck (3 - 6 PM)
• Bingo and photo scavenger hunt with prizes
• Yoga from Embody Yoga (2 PM and 4 PM)
• Pop-up activities and performances (3 - 6 PM)
• Screening of the movie Kiki (9 PM)

Youth and Family Pride Events - 2018

LGBT Pride Month in Saint Paul Public Schools

Every June the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community celebrates its history and vibrancy during Pride month. SPPS staff are invited to participate in several Pride events. Join the SPPS Rainbow Connection on Schoology to get regular updates about LGBT-focused events and news in Saint Paul Public Schools. Use code: TRTFH-CND44.

• SPPS Staff Pride Gathering. Join SPPS staff for an informal gathering to celebrate Pride month. This event is organized by staff for staff. This is a pay your own way event. Visit http://www.thehappygnome.com for restaurant menu and pricing.

• TC Pride Family Fun Day Picnic at Como Park. Come enjoy activities, free hot dogs, corn on the cob, chips, and beverages with your Pride Family. SPPS will have a booth – stop by, learn about current LGBT programs, and get an SPPS rainbow sticker! Sign up for reminders, transportation details, and/or to volunteer in the SPPS booth.
