Clever is a single - sign tool that streamlines the log in experience for students and staff to many core SPPS apps and accounts. All instructional staff are able to log in to Clever. Clever is automatically installed on student and staff iPads and can be accessed on any device.

Here are some quick ideas (or should we say clever ideas) for using Clever in your classroom:

1. Print Clever Badges for your students. These unique QR Codes will allow your students to quickly sign in to their Clever portal without entering their student username and password. Click here to learn more about Badges!
2. Consider using 'Messages' with your students. Teachers and students can chat back and forth with Messages right from the Clever Portal! From the Messages tab, you can search for a student and send them a message. You can turn your Messages on or off at any time. To find out more, click here! 
3. Create a 'Page' for your class and add your own links or other resources. Clever can act like a handy bookmark bar for students. Teachers can place links to commonly used resources - like websites or accounts - that students frequently use. Click here to learn more about creating Pages in Clever.
4. Explore the Clever Library! The Clever Library is a place for teachers to discover, learn about, and adopt new resources for their classroom. Resources in the Library can be added to a teacher’s Teacher Page for easy access by students and teachers. Installing an application will set up accounts for you and your students – no need to hand enter student information or print out password cards!
