Processing Cultural Differences

 

This multi-day, in person course extends the work of the asynchronous 1 credit course “Processing Cultural Differences” . Participants will build community and cultural awareness through circles and group discussions to understand deep cultural values and spectrums of cultural interpretation of those values, to deepen self-awareness of culture, and to process feelings and beliefs of cultural differences. Additional content includes Hofestede's cultural dimensions, specific cultural perspectives with visuals, quotes, and videos, and cultural contexts around time and family. 

Meetings will be at the Center for Equity and Culture Dates: February 1, February 29, and March 21, 2024

TIme: 4:30-6:00pm.

 This course will provide a P1 cultural competency.
