• Early Childhood Family Education’s (ECFE) mission is to strengthen families through education and support of all parents through providing the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of their children.  ECFE provides education in child development and parent/child relationships which sets the stage for children’s school success.


    SPPS offers a free class specically for American Indian Families with children ages Birth - 9 years. During the 2019-2020 school year the class was located at Dayton's Bluff Elementary (262 Bates Avenue), on Wednesdays, 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Limited transportation is available.

    • Culturally specific parent information and support groups.
    • Activities for children in classrooms that assist in social and emotional development.
    • Family oriented field trips.
    • Family time together in a learning environment.
    • Open to children birth to kindergarten.
    • School-age program 6 to 12 years in age.
