SPPS offers many ways for students to earn employment certification and more:

Career and Technical Education
The Career and Technical Education program offers field-specific classes held at various SPPS high schools -- sometimes including industry certification and transferrable college credits.

Automotive Industry
Students (Grades 10-12 from any high school) who want to learn about the automotive industry can attend the Saint Paul High School Automotive Center at no cost.

Career Pathways Academy
Qualifying students (Grades 10-12) who are interested the health science, communications, or business fields may earn college credits at no cost by enrolling in the Career Pathways Academy.

Post-Secondary Enrollment Options
Students (Grades 10-12) who would like to complete an Associate of Arts degree while in high school may do so through a combination of college-level courses in their high schools and college courses at Saint Paul colleges.
