Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) is receiving approximately $334 million in federal funding for COVID-19 response efforts and to address long-term student outcomes that have been impacted by the pandemic. The largest portion, $206.9 million, is a result of the American Rescue Act. These one-time funds present an incredible opportunity to impact student learning outcomes at SPPS.

SPPS is committed to ensuring that multiple perspectives have been and will continue to be included in prioritizing the use of these funds. At this time, we are seeking input from families. If you have students enrolled in SPPS, this is an opportunity to have your perspectives heard.  

The forums will be held virtually and are open to all SPPS families. Some forums will be conducted in languages other than English or focus on families with children in special education. Each forum will include a short welcome and an overview of the federal funding. Forums will be moderated and notes will be taken.
