    Drug and Chemical Health Resources

    SPPS cares about the overall health and wellbeing of the students we serve. Since May 2023, every school’s health office has been equipped with naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. This webpage contains information for families on what to do if you suspect someone in your life is abusing drugs or alcohol.

    Deadline Extended To Choose a Great School!

    If you are applying to a different SPPS school for 2024-25, visit spps.org/apply to find the right school for your student. Open houses are another opportunity to learn more about schools that interest you. Winter open houses begin in January; find dates and times here. Complete an application by the newly extended Feb. 23 (from Feb. 9) deadline for the best opportunity to get into the school of your choice.

Due to changes to Minnesota state law, SPPS enabled a new feature called Enhanced Privacy Mode.     Temperatures and cooling and winter weather will soon be here. SPPS and Project REACH are accepting NEW coats and blankets this year to help keep our children experiencing homelessness warm all winter. Donations can be brought to the Project REACH office Nov. 13-Jan. 19.
