Rules & Expectations
The WTMS Winter Ball is a St. Paul Public School event. All school rules and expectations are to be followed. If they are violated, you will be required to leave prom without a refund. Smoking, consuming alcohol and/or illegal substances are prohibited at school events.
Attendance Policy
- All attendees must have a ticket to attend. No tickets will be sold at the door.
- The doors to the Great Hall open at 7 PM. Please arrive no later than 8 PM. The doors will close promptly at 8 PM. No one will be admitted after the doors close.
- The dance ends at 10PM. Please arrange for transportation at 10PM
- No re-entry. Students who leave before 10PM will not be allowed to re-enter.
- Any student expelled or administratively transferred from Washington is NOT allowed to attend prom. Students who have ODRs or are dismissed from January 8-10 will NOT be allowed to attend the dance and their tickets will not be refunded.
Guest Policy
- Only WTMS high school students may attend the dance.
- Tickets are limited in number and by grade level.
Dress Code
The Winter Ball is a formal event requiring formal attire. Students should wear dresses, suits, and/or tuxedos. Not jeans, sweats, t-shirts, or shorts.

Ticket Sales
All ticket sales are final. Purchasing a ticket confirms you acknowledge the following:
- No refunds or transfers of your ticket.
Note: This includes but is not limited to suspensions/dismissals the week before the dance, school transfers, date cancelations, or illness.
- You agree to follow prom rules and the dress code.
