Highlands track team had their 5th meet of the season yesterday with both the boys and girls teams winning against the mighty Minneapolis Southwest. Notable performances were turned in by freshmen Gospel Simon and Luna Scorzelli, sophomore Delia Johnson, and juniors Kiyomi Callahan and Ayden Davis.

Highland's track and field team opened their season against mighty Minnetonka yesterday. Notable performances were senior Josiah Christopher throwing the shot put 45 feet, junior Molly Moening running the mile in 5 minutes 8 seconds, and sophomore Terez Vaughn jumping his height in the high jump. Come out and support the Scots next Thursday at home against Central... first 250 spectators are allowed to come watch in the bleachers.

Congrats to the State Champions! The Girls Nordic Ski Team won the State meet on Friday. Sophomore Molly Moening was the state champion. The boys team placed 3rd at the state championship. All-State honors were earned by Molly Moening, Celeste Alden, Anna Schmidt, Rayna Axelson and Cole Johnson. Job well done, everyone!

Attention ALL students: NHS is looking for your talents for Benstock - the annual NHS talent show fundraiser. We are looking for any/all talents! If you are interested in performing at Benstock, please sign up for an audition time outside of room 3211. Auditions will be Feb.10th, 12th and 13th. Please see Ms. Rohweller-Kocur in room 3211 if you have questions.
