¡Hola!

Welcome to Spanish class! I am happy you are here! I began teaching Spanish in 1992, after graduating from St. Olaf College with degrees in Spanish and Hispanic Studies and Education.  I earned my Master's Degree in Urban Education from Hamline University in 2002 and am also licensed to teach Reading. This is my 31st year of teaching and I continue to love what I do. I am the parent of an HPSH student (and one recent graduate) and am proud to be a part of this community as both a teacher and a mom! 

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work together to make our new 8/2 block schedule learning a safe, postive and productive experience. It is my goal to help students learn and grow as language learners and to share my enthusiasm and expertise with them. Focused fun, academic authenticity and relevant application of what we study are my areas of focus for the year.
