At HPSHS We have one two-year IB Dance class for juniors and seniors and a one-semester Beginning Dance class open to all levels, no dance experience required. Residencies with local dance companies, guest artists and field trips to local dance performances are an integral part of our in-person program. We study a variety of traditional dance forms from around the world as well as ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, ballroom and latin social as well as other diverse styles taught by guest artists.

The International Baccalaureate program at Highland Park Senior High is one of only three programs in Minnesota that include an IB dance program, started by Charlotte Landreau, Former IB Diploma Coordinator and currently led by Matthew Keefe.
