WELCOME to the Highland Park Senior High Social Studies Department. 

The Highland Park Senior High School Social Studies department offers a comprehensive curriculum of classes, which focuses not only on cultural literacy, but also concentrate on developing global awareness, sharpening analytical skills, and challenging students through a variety of teaching methods. 

Highland Park also offers advanced classes through the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, as well as electives.  It is our mission to make learning accessible to all students and promote academic skills in a respectful community of learners.
