Description: The African Student Association is all about educating people about the different types of African culture.We want to educate the community concerning current political, economic and social issues in Africa and to dispense inaccurate stereotypes associated with the African continent.
This club would help us to learn more about other traditions and culture in Africa. This club is different than the Black Student union in many ways, one is that our culture and traditions are different. The BSU is about the culture of black people that had emigrated to America forcefully many years ago. The African Club is to show the cultures from Africa. We want people to see our culture with their differences and similarities to Black American culture.
