Social Studies Teacher and IB MYP Coordinator

Welcome! I am a social studies teacher and I am also the IB Middle Years Program Coordinator. I joined the Highland Park Senior High Staff in 2003.  I earned my BA Degree in Secondary Education and Social Studies from the University of St. Thomas in 2002.  I completed my Master's of Education Program in Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary's University in 2009. I have taught Economics, Civics, US History, World History, Accelerated World History, Human Geography, and Current Events. This year, I will be teaching 2 sections of Accelerated World History.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and playing sports.  I especially enjoy playing softball, volleyball, and being outdoors and active with my husband and 4 children.

I am looking forward to another great year at HP!
