Ms. Laura Ramsborg

Ms. Laura Ramsborg, Assistant Principal, has over a decade of education experience as a reading teacher; Literacy Lead; district literacy coach; district Curriculum & Instruction Specialist; and high school Dean of Students. 

Ms. Ramsborg holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, with a major in English Literature and a minor in Technical Writing. She earned her Master’s of Teaching and Administrative licensure from Hamline University, and is licensed to teach 5-12 Communication Arts and Literature as well as K-12 Reading. Ms. Ramsborg has also taught education courses at St. Catherine University and written articles for Minnesota Parent magazine. 

Dr. Maya Angelou says, “Each person needs a place that is furnished with hope,” and this belief is foundational to Ms. Ramsborg’s education philosophy. She is a student-centered leader with a passion for social justice, literacy, and developing lifelong learners. 

Ms. Ramsborg enjoys ridiculous puns, silly socks, indie bookstores, coffee, and ice cream. In her free time, you will find her hanging out with family members, various pets, and a good book.
