Mr. Isebrand

Background

I was born and raised in southern Minnesota, in a small town called Lake Crystal. I moved to the metro area in 2003 with my wife, Susan. We now live in Savage with our 3 children, Greydon, Evelyn, and Livia. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my kids, watching movies, reading, and working on home projects. I started my teaching career in 2003, and began at Farnsworth in 2009. I love teaching at Farnsworth because the students are incredibly fun and excited to learn, the staff have tons of energy and try to continuously improve, and working at an aerospace school is super cool!!

6th & 7th Grade Math

Students will be working toward mastery in the math standards, Numbers and Operation, Algebra, Geometry, and Data and Statistics. 80% of students' grades come from unit assessments and 20% comes from daily work - math talks/intros, in class work and activities, and problem solving. Our daily agenda is Math Talk (3-5 minute starter around a math concept), new information, check-in, quiz or exit slip.

**All assignments are due the next time class meets (for example: assignments given on Monday are due on Tuesday); late work is accepted and graded

**On the day assignments are given, work time will be provided
