Hi everyone!

My name is Andrew Dettle (he/him/his) and I am one of the school social workers here at Farnsworth! This will be my first year here at Farnsworth and my 6th year as a school social worker all together. As a school social worker, it is my role to help create a safe & inclusive school environment for all of our students. 

This school year, I will be providing social emotional support for students in both 1:1 and small group settings. My goal is to empower students by allowing them to recognize their own individual strengths, while creating opportunities for them to develop healthy coping strategies to navigate school stressors & everyday life. 

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, lounging with our 2 cats, being around family & friends, listening to music/podcasts, and watching & playing sports, particularly basketball!
