Hi! I'm Jess Weller, and I have been teaching literacy at St. Paul Public Schools since 2013.  In 2021, I became the WINN (What I Need Now) reading intervention teacher here at Farnsworth. WINN Reading ensures students are given opportunities to reach their full potential by applying targeted interventions unique to each student’s needs. 

I love teaching at Farnsworth because we believe in fostering a safe and supportive community in which students feel they can show up and be valued for their true authentic selves.

When I’m not in the classroom, I love to travel. I also enjoy camping, canoeing, hiking, and exploring with my husband and two daughters. My oldest daughter loves to fish, but I am new to the world of fishing, so if you have any tips I would love to learn from you!
