Greetings Global Arts Plus Families,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. I am thrilled to be your child’s case manager! I will teach both 7th and 8th grade Skills, Reading, Math, English Language Arts (ELA) and a Science and Social Studies concepts class. 

Here are some highlights of what to expect for the year:

• Foundations is a new class for all middle schoolers. It is similar to homeroom where all students will be with their peers but with focused lessons on social skills and navigating middle school. 
• I am so excited to kick off our second year as a Special Olympics Unified School! Unified Club is for students both with and without disabilities to have fun and work together to make our school more inclusive. 
• Coffee Cart! This is the fourth year my skills class will have the opportunity to learn and practice valuable life and job skills twice a week by running our mobile “Bean Wave” cart selling coffee to teachers.
