My name is Chuck Gunsten and this is my fourth year teaching 4th grade at Global Arts Plus! I have been teaching in St. Paul Public Schools since 2011. Before that, I taught 5^th and 6^th grade in Bloomington and Seattle for several years. My wife Molly and I are both St. Paul natives and graduates of St. Paul Public Schools. We live in the neighborhood just a few blocks away! I have three children: Maeve, who is 15 and is entering 10th grade at my alma mater Central, Walter, who is 12 years old and is in 7th grade at Capitol Hill, and our youngest son Declan, 6, who will be here at GAP for 1st grade!

I have been a teacher for over 15 years, and I am very passionate about education. I love teaching 4th grade and I’m very excited to be in a 4th grade classroom for another year. When I am not teaching, I love traveling with my family, camping, and watching Minnesota Sports.
