Dear 5th graders and their families,

Welcome to 5th grade at Global Arts Plus Upper. 5th grade students are getting ready to be middle schoolers, and the team is here to help them make the transition. We have 75 years of teaching experience between us, so we bring a wealth of knowledge to our classrooms.

In 5th grade, all the teachers work with all students, so you will get to know and work with all three classroom teachers. Some students will also work with Ms Lud our ELL teacher and Mr Busko our special education teacher. 

All students take dance, theatre, music, and fine arts in 5th grade. We also use a variety of art forms in our regular classes. Afouyati Haitian Dance, Arts and Music is the 5th grade resident artist in May. A three-week series of classes culminates in a carnival celebration.
