Hello and welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am Sarah Ludwiczak, ELL teacher for grade 5 at Global Arts Plus Upper Campus. This is my 18th year teaching.

I feel like I have the best job in the world! I co-teach with the 5th grade team to support English Language Learning students during the academic school day. Throughout the school year, students will increase their listening, reading, writing and speaking proficiency in English. My job is to make language learning fun, relevant and integrated with 5th grade content standards. The best part about my job is noticing when students apply their language learning in real, academic context without support. 5th graders will work very hard throughout the school year, but I always try to punctuate our work and learning together with laughter and celebration.
