2022-23! Let's goooo!

I'm Mr. Mulhern (he/him/his), and I am the 8th grade Language Arts teacher, as well as the teacher of the brand new Coding and Computer Science elective class. This is my 4th year at Global Arts Plus working alongside this amazing team.

This year, we will be covering a variety of topics. We will create a history of our personal reading journeys, practice strategies for research, check out some dystopian texts and make our way through some contemporary classics. We’ll write our own personal narratives, craft both opinion and literary essays, look at the facets of investigative journalism and spend of time infusing the arts into our learning. I will consistently be on the lookout for the best resources to get interesting texts in students' hands.

I live in St. Paul with my wife Emily and our two cats, Q-Tip (12) and Mo (8). When I’m not teaching, I love to write, read, play the drums, make music, run, bike, hike and work on film/theatre projects.
