Leadership Update at Adams Spanish Immersion
Dear Adams Spanish Immersion Community,
You’ll remember that we recently learned that Principal Rob Sahli will be leaving Adams at the end of the school year. The position was posted for several weeks, and we are ready to start moving forward with the interview process.
After submitting their applications, the candidates’ applications were reviewed. Qualified candidates will be invited to a school-level interview.
Next, we will conduct school-level interviews with a small team, including two Adams parents, two Adams staff members, myself and a member of our Human Resources staff.
Principal Sahli worked with your school community to select the parent/community and staff representatives and two site-specific questions to be included in the interview. Our goal is to be able to announce the new leader to the staff and community before the end of the school year.
Finally, once the new leader of Adams Spanish Immersion is selected, we will share a simple survey with families and staff. This online survey will serve as a great opportunity for the school community to share what you believe the most important priorities are for your new leader and identify what you are most proud of about your school.

Cambio de líder en Adams Spanish Immersion
Estimada comunidad de Adams Spanish Immersion,
Ustedes recordarán que recientemente supimos que el director Rob Sahli dejará Adams a finales de este año escolar. La posición fue anunciada por varias semanas y ya estamos litros para seguir con el proceso de entrevistas.
Luego de enviar la solicitud, se revisaron las postulaciones de los candidatos. Los candidatos calificados serán invitados a una entrevista en la escuela.
Luego realizaremos entrevistas en la escuela con un grupo pequeño que incluirá a dos padres y dos maestros de Adams, yo y un miembro del departamento de Recursos Humanos.
El director Sahli trabajó con nuestra comunidad escolar para elegir a los padres/miembros de la comunidad y maestros que representen a la escuela y en la selección de dos preguntas específicas de la escuela para ser incluídas en la entrevista. Nuestro objetivo es poder anunciar el nuevo líder a los empleados y comunidad antes del término del año escolar.
Finalmente, una vez que se haya elegido al nuevo líder de Adams Spanish Immersion, compartiremos una simple encuesta con las familias y empleados. Esta encuesta sirve como una gran oportunidad para que la comunidad escolar comparta lo que piensa que son las prioridades para su nuevo líder y para que identificar lo que los enorgullece de la escuela.
