Trabajador Social / School Social Worker

Greetings!

This is my ninth year as the School Social Worker at Adams Spanish Immersion. Before coming to Adams I worked as a Music Therapist at a number of elementary and middle schools in the district. I enjoy using the arts and creativity in my work with children. I also am a musician and enjoy singing, playing the upright bass and facilitating drumming groups at Adams. 

As the School Social Worker I provide mental health services to both regular and special education students. I also evaluate students for special education services, teach self-regulation and social skills, and connect students and families to community resources.
