¡Hola! Mi nombre es Señorita Jodi Schoot y estoy emocionado de que este año escolar comience. Estoy ansioso por trabajar con todos mis estudiantes y quiero brindarles el apoyo que necesitan para tener éxito. Crecí en Minnesota y asistí a The College of St. Catherine tanto para mi licenciatura como para mi maestría. Tengo licencia como maestro de educación general K-6 y maestro de discapacidades de aprendizaje específicas. Este será mi octavo año en Adams Spanish Immersion. He estado enseñando durante veinte años (12 como maestra de educación general y 8 como maestra de educación especial) y estoy lista para conocer a mis nuevos estudiantes. Ha sido y sigue siendo un placer conocer a las familias de Adams y toda la comunidad de Adams. Hello! My name is Señorita Jodi Schoot and I am excited for this school year to begin. I am anxious to work with all of my students and want to provide them with the support they need in order to feel and be successful.

I grew up in Minnesota, and attended The College of St. Catherine for both my BA and MA.  I am licensed as a K-6 general education teacher and a Specific Learning Disabilities Teacher.  This will be my 8th year at Adams Spanish Immersion.  I have been teaching for twenty years (12 as a general education classroom teacher and 8 as a special education teacher) and am ready to meet my new students.  It has been, and continues to be, a pleasure getting to know the families of Adams and the entire Adams community.

In my free time I enjoy playing with my two cats, Mortimer Brewster and Mr. Dudley, listening to music, drawing, painting, and watching classical movies.
