¡Hola! Me llamo Jennifer Anthenat. Soy de Spring Lake Park, MN. Me gradué de Spring Lake Park High School y después asistí a Bethel University para estudiar la educación primeria y el español. Como parte de mis estudios tomé clases en España y México.
Este es mi octavo año de enseñanza en Adams. Enseñé en la escuela Emerson en Minneapolis por tres años antes de venir a Adams y anteriormente enseñé en North Branch, MN.
Estoy emocionada para conocerles y trabajar con ustedes y su hijo/a. Creo que el aprendizaje pasa todo el tiempo, cada día, y no solamente en el salón de clase. Espero que su hijo/a les cuente de los que hacen aquí y que también me cuente de las conexiones que hacen con las lecciones y su vida diaria.
También creo que se aprende mejor en grupo y cuando se trabaja como parte de un equipo. En clase voy a animar a los estudiante a trabajar juntos y aprender uno del otro. También espero que ustedes y yo hagamos un buen equipo también.
Hello! My name is Jennifer Anthenat. I am from Spring Lake Park, MN. I graduate from Spring Lake Park High School, and then went on to study Spanish education and elementary education at Bethel University. As part of my degree program at Bethel, I studied in both Spain and Mexico.
This is my eighth year at Adams. For the three years previous to coming to Adam I taught third grade at Emerson SILC in Minneapolis, and before that I taught elementary Spanish in North Branch, MN.
I am really looking forward to this year and working together with you and your child. I believe that learning happens all day, every day, not just at school, and I hope that your child will come home and make connections with what they are learning here. I also hope they will tell me about the connections they have made, (see homework for more information).
I also believe that learning is social, so it is best achieved in groups, and as a team. I will be encouraging your child to work with other students in class to maximize their learning, and I hope that you and I will be a team as well.
