  • Welcome to the Randolph Heights Library!  Students have daily access to the library as needed.  Kindergarten classes come every day to check out a new book of their choice. In addition, whole classes in grades 1-5 come on a weekly basis to learn library skills, explore fiction as well as non-fiction, discover new books, create a favorite author list, and take reading quizzes in the Accelerated Reading program.  We circulate over 40,000 books each year! Students in grades 3-5 may choose to participate in the Maud Hart Lovelace program by reading 7 of the 10 nominated books for the current year and can participate in a Battle of the Books competition at the end of the year. Book Club is a reading program we have developed for our beginning readers in grades K-2.  Our community and family volunteers are trained to listen to children read and encourage students in reading development.  Book Club meets two mornings each week with a reading assignment to complete at home with family members.  Kindergartners are ready to begin Book Club in February.
