Bret Godfrey is a Middle School Social Studies teacher.  He has been in teaching for 32 years, twenty-six of those in St. Paul. Mr. Godfrey has Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration-Finance, Elementary Education (Both from Northern State University), and Social Sciences-Teacher Endorsement from Winona State University. He also has a Masters of Education from Bethel University.

Mr. Godfrey is an enrolled member of the Potawotomi tribe of Oklahoma. Mr. Godfrey has been married for 32 years. He has a daughter (& son in law) and a son. This Fall he became a Grandfather (grandson). Two dogs round out Mr. Godfrey's household. Traveling, yard work & being with his family occupies most of Mr. Godfrey's free time.
