Boozhoo!

My name is Blake Berney and I currently teach 1st grade at American Indian Magnet. I began teaching at AIMS in 2018, where I taught 4th grade for five years. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and hold a K-6 Minnesota teaching license. During the summer, I teach middle school math from June through July. In August, I enjoy going to the Minnesota state fair several times with my family. 

Other activities outside of school I enjoy are spending time with my wife and kids. I have a daughter named Nova who was born in 2019, and my son Teddy was born in 2022. We love going to the park, trying new (or old) restaurants, being outside near Cherokee park, and catching up with friends and family members.
