I have been teaching at American Indian Magnet School since 2001.  I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Augsburg College, and earned my Master of Arts Degree from the University St. Thomas specializing in Gifted, Creative and Talented Education.

I am an Ojibwe and a member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians, which is located in northern Minnesota.  Although I live in St. Paul, I call Red Lake my home and travel there often to relax and visit with family and friends.  

I have a daughter and two grandchildren who get all my attention.  We often travel to powwows in Minnesota and Wisconsin throughout the year, but we especially enjoy camping and dancing at powwows during the summer.
